What Pidcock Family Ancestoral line does the website cover?
This website concentrates on the male line of Pidcock’s starting from William Pidcock of Bakewell who died in 1630 and married Margaret Pidcock. He is the earliest traceable male of our branch! In the year William died, Margaret gave birth to a son, also named William, who continued this branch of the Pidcock tree! However, the ultimate goal is to connect as many other branches into our paternal line. At present, we have listed over 4,700 individuals, with more than 450 with the Pidcock surname.
