What picture to send?
The picture can be an ordinary photograph, or e-mail a digital image. It can be black and white! If the photo is small, but it is a favourite of yours I suggest you send it and include a couple more pictures. Most importantly you must like the image yourself. It is useful to include an e-mail or letter detailing the persons colouring. For example are their eyes pale blue, grey/blue, mid blue or green? If you are not sure, do not worry. I will be able to gain an idea of their colouring by asking you a few questions either on the phone or by an e-mail conversation. I will go over what you would like and write you a letter by post or email as to whether the photograph is suitable. If is preferable that the image is taken in good light. Light behind the subject is recommended as this should prevent squinting. Avoid midday in strong sunlight, mornings and evenings can provide a softer light .
