What phone number is 133 NRS or 1800 555 NRS?
This is the same as dialling 133 677 or 1800 555 677 using a standard telephone handset. You will see that there are small letters attached to each number on the telephone number pad. Beneath the number six you will find the letter N. Beneath the number seven you will find the letters R and S. It is often easier for people to remember letters (eg. 133 NRS or 1800 555 NRS) than numbers (eg. 133 677 or 1800 555 677). This only works when a standard telephone handset is used. If you are dialling using the numbers on the keyboard of a direct connect TTY, then the only option is to use the numbers 133 677 or 1800 555 677 (and not the letters on the keyboard).
