A Cinematographer is one who is engaged in motion picture filming, and is typically a sort of overseer for lighting, sound, artwork, colors, and other associated filming adjuncts. A Cinematographer is sometimes referred to as the Director of Photography, and, as such, might have charge of a crew of camera operators, assistant camera operators, costume designers, production designer, art director, and others.
