What performance level must a Supplier achieve in COMPASS?
• Suppliers are expected to meet or exceed an annualized savings dollar goal and meet or exceed the participation minimum to be recognized as achieving their goal. The Supply Manager or Logistics Manager at the beginning of Internationals fiscal year establishes this. • The participation minimum is one COMPASS idea moved forward from Initial Review that is not rejected this fiscal year. • Savings are credited at the time of implementation for 100% of the annualized value of the idea. Equivalent or better product quality and delivery is mandatory. • Given the rate at which an idea can be implemented, it is more likely that a Supplier will achieve their goal if ideas are submitted early rather than later in the fiscal year. • Savings achieved over a goal are carried-over to the next fiscal year and applied towards the subsequent fiscal year goal.
