What percentage saving can be effected by means of the RRP method of construction?
This will depend on the soil conditions, the geogRRPhic location and the situation in the construction market. With the RRP method the greatest savings can be effected in circumstances where the most difficult highly-cohesive soils predominate, where also severe frosts are likely to occur and where, for these reasons, conventional road construction is very expensive. In such cases the amount of labour that the RRP method involves is much less, and so is the amount of materials and plant required, so that then the highest percentages can be saved (see our customers’ letters of recommendation).
