What percentage of the worlds population is without hot running water?
I couldn’t find exact statistics about this, but presumably homes with electricity and running water have some form of water heating. By this measure I would guess that probably, more than 50% are without running water. 25% of the world’s population has no access to clean water at all(http://www.wsws.org/news/1998/sep1998/pov-s23.shtml). 50% of the world’s working people live on less than $60 per month. My guess is that they probably wouldn’t want to pay for the electricity to heat water (http://www.globalissues.org/TradeRelated/Facts.asp).
