What percentage of the world population you would think remains in almost total ignorance?
People who live in towns and cities are generally very ignorant of the natural world. People who live in the countryside are much more in touch with nature, the changing seasons, the cycle of birth, life and death, the ancient elements of earth, fire, air and water, and with the moon, sun, stars and planets. You could say that this is the “real world” that has existed for millions of years, whereas cities have only been around for a few thousand years and are totally artificial. About half the world now lives in cities. That’s a lot of ignorance.
