I refuse, the BBC should be a subscription service you have it if you want! I hate the BBC, crap sports coverage, left wing controlled and biased, dull, boring, lifeless presenters, eg Adrian Chiles and that tart with the nice legs, I hate the BBC besides they dont have commercials but there are plenty of advertisments mixed in with the shows, its a sham, Comic Relief, Children in Need, do you really think the donations go to the charities!! No they line the pockets of the government and the fat cat BBC directors! I refuse to buy a TV licence!

I already don’t have one. Makes me laugh, some of the comments that they want advert free TV, and say that the BBC don’t advertise! Just llok properley, the BBC DOES advertise, and not just it’s own products.

I think there is an important point here which people seem to ignore. Paying for the TV License may be an acceptable idea but having to renew it every year is ridiculous! BBC may have adopted a unique approach to provide advertising free TV but is it really worth it? Here’s some simple maths: Lets assume only 10% of UK’s 60 million population have a colour TV License. So, if you do the simple math, you will deduce that we approximately pay £780,000,000 (£780m) a year for the TV Licenses (this is based on a moderate assumption of only 6million in UK having a TVL)! Is this justifiable? Well you can have a one off fee with a nominal renewal charge of something like 10%. But this is a sheer rip-off. I fail to understand how people can be oblivious to this and carry on paying when they should object to it severely. Quit blaming the banks for poor accountability, what about companies like BBC?
