What percentage of the money I donate actually goes towards cancer research?
A. Texas 4000 is 100% committed to the fight against cancer. Throughout the duration of our trip, we strive to keep all operational costs, such as food and shelter, at an absolute minimum. Thankfully, through the unbelievable generosity of our hosts, we aren’t left completely without luxury during our trip; but, if necessary, we will sleep in tents and eat peanut butter sandwiches… By minimizing trip expenses, we can donate more money to cancer research – which makes us happier than warm beds, nice food, and a hot shower ever could. As well, as Texas 4000 has grown, we have been very fortunate to acquire some very generous sponsors; our partnership with Sense Corp being the prime example. One of their goals is to contribute enough money to Texas 4000 to fully cover all operational expenses, thus making me proud to say that nearly all of your donation will go towards cancer research.
