What percentage of the funds raised will actually go to the charities in need?
Our goal is to grant 100% of the funds raised through flashmob4charity.org directly to U.S. nonprofits struggling to meet increased demand with decreased funding. If we are able to sign sponsors and/or private donors to cover our costs and expenses we’ll be able to achieve this 100% goal. Currently the breakdown is as follows: • 92.5% goes directly to local and regional organizations providing social services on the front lines of our communities; • 5.0% goes to cover credit card gateway and processing fees; and • 2.5% pays our general & administrative costs and expenses.
