What percentage of students choose to affiliate with fraternities and sororities at Lehigh?
Currently, just over 1300 undergraduates are affiliated with 23 fraternities and 9 sororities. Thirty-three percent of the undergraduate males are fraternity members, but only 20 percent of Lehighs male students now live on the hill. Forty-three percent of undergraduate females belong to sororities. Fraternity membership at Lehigh has been declining for some years, as it has nationally, while sorority membership numbers have been increasing. Despite the overall decline in participation rates, Lehighs Greek membership rates are still significantly higher than the national average, which is approximately 18%.
