What percentage of questions does e-FAQ answer correctly?
Well it really depends on a number of factors. e-FAQ is engineered to find the best match to questions that are directly related to the information in a given FAQ. As a result, it is imperative that the inquiry be matched with the right FAQ or set of FAQs that would be relevant to the inquiry. e-FAQ ranks matches based upon a linguistic matching calculation. For each inquiry, e-FAQ gives each FAQ entry a score based upon how many of the inquiry’s words (or their synonyms) were matched. The FAQ entries that indicate a significantly higher matching value are given a higher score. e-FAQ also allows the match grading to be set from a scale from Generous to Strict. Generous matching might match fairly unrelated entries, while Strict matching may only match really closely matched entries and miss a relevant entry due to wording differences.
