What percentage of Purples wine list are Washington wines?
It varies by location. Woodinville has the heaviest majority. About 20% percent of the list is from Washington, and the rest highlights wines from around the world. (Over 90 wines by the glass and hundreds by the bottle are available.) What is Barrio’s concept? Barrio is a Mexican restaurant. We try to take a fresh and lighter approach to traditional with fresh seafood, ceviche, crudo and various tacos. Like Purple, we want to bring the food and liquid experience together, only with more focus on cocktails. It’s in my nature to want to create. We’re very lucky to have good talents and I want to create opportunities for them.
