This is the war the democrats can’t talk about, because they started it and lost. Johnsons’ war on poverty is a failure because it encouraged families to split up to qualify for benefits. This is one of the major reasons for the high number of out of wedlock births, crime and poverty rates. Additionally, the education system is hostage to the teachers unions, who in no way, shape, or form care about students best interests. It produces below par results because these unions protect the slugs among them, they are lying if they try to say they don’t. And of course, liberals are in denial about the fact that some people aren’t willing to work hard enough to be even be worth minimum wage.
