What people would use Beaker?
Anyone who wants to do something on a system configuration that they don’t have immediate access to. For example: • System Administrators Beaker gives Sys admins the ability to keep a track of their systems, the ability to udpate their conditions, and amongst other things, to remotely power cycle them. They may need to quickly create a reproduction of a live machine to allow them to replicate a problem or provide a proof of concept . Beaker provides this seamlessly and efficiently. • Developers Before releasing software, developers will need to ensure their software will work correctly on a variety of operating systems running different hardware. Beaker enables the quick provisioning of customisable systems in it’s inventory, based on configurable criteria. It then allows tests that are pre written by the developer to run and report back to the developer.
