What passenger aircraft is best for the planets ecology?
The world’s largest passenger aircraft (typically with around 555 seats) , the Airbus A380, will be the greenest aircraft ever built, with fuel consumption per passenger equivalent to a small family car. It will also be one of the quietest large aircraft ever, complying with strict noise restrictions at London’s Heathrow airport.
The best “Plane” is not actually a plane but an airship. In comparison to an aircraft they have a much higher lift capacity and fuel economy wise they are far more fuel efficient. The original zeppelins use blu gas as a fuel as it had the same density at normal air and thus did not effect the airship trim during flight. However as a by product they were far more clean burning and produced lower co2 emissions. The only two drawbacks with airships are there slow speed and there difficulties landing.
