What parts are needed for building a r/c helicopter, or plane, or boat?

I have built two boats from scratch but a plane or helicopter would be a lot harder. For a boat you need to start with a hull, I used balsa wood that was finished with resin for mine but you can also buy plastic moulded hulls which would be the easiest way to do it. From there you need motors which should only be about $10 each for cheap ones from a hobby or electronics shop. After motors you need to get a remote and receiver set up. These can be bought for about $60 and come with the remote control, a receiver, and sometimes servos attached to the receiver. You will need one servo for the rudder and a power controller that plugs into the RC reciever in the same way as a servo. This power controller takes a signal from the receiver and amplifies it with additional battery power, this then goes to the motor(s) to control them. Once you have all this you will need a battery pack to power everything and a drive shaft and propeller for the motor. This is going to be the hardest part to get
