What parts and how do i ground a metal building and protect it from lightning?
generally all metal structure are earthed against lighting, form a plug socket the third TOP big pin is earthed so that whatever u connect as load will be earthed automatically. u connect all these earthing together and finally connected to a copper sheet buried in ground of ur building(also known as earthing plate). for protecting building from lighting ….u put a lighting arrester on top of ur building which gather the charge accumulated in clouds and direct it towards ground in Earthing plate ……
