What parrot should i buy?
Parrots are smart, social birds, require a lot of attention and live a long time (30+ years). Don’t buy a parrot or even a cockatiel unless you plan to spend a lot of time with it and have it for a very long time. Then of course there’s your budgetary issues. A budgie (aka parakeet) is about all you’re going to get for that kind of money. Even a budgie can be a fun pet if you put in the time talking to it and playing with it. Trained right, they can learn several words and be comfortable riding on your shoulder, and following you around the hourse.
