1. Evening Parent Group- This group has been in existence since April 1997. This is a parent support group that meets every three weeks from September to June. Sessions are planned based on the needs of the group and many include videos and guest speakers on various topics related to parenting infants to preschool aged children. New members are accepted every September. 2. Morning Parent/Play Group- This group has been in existence since April 1999. The group meets every Wednesday morning from 10:00 – 11:30 am upstairs in the Family Centre at the north end of the County Administration Building.The group is run on a drop in basis, with children welcome. Parents have the opportunity to discuss issues and socialize while the children interact. Guest speakers are brought in occasionally to deal with the topics of interest to the group. There is no charge for attending these sessions and refreshments are provided.
