Every item traveling between two libraries to fill a request should have some form of paperwork with it from the interlibrary loan system in which the request was placed (OCLC, Voyager, etc.) Please continue to treat this paperwork as you always have, e.g., placing it inside the front cover of a book, etc. If both the sending and receiving libraries are direct ILDS locations, the request paperwork is all you need to place with the item since materials traveling between any two ILDS locations are placed in a bag in which every item is going to the same final destination. In cases where the sending and receiving libraries are not both direct ILDS locations, a routing label must accompany the item. Use the ILDS paper routing label available at http://www.illinoisdelivers.net/PaperILDSlabel.pdf.
