Most winter tourists come to Crested Butte to ski. The mountain offers a variety of terrain. The ski school is excellent. Some of our favorite instructors are Ben Furminsky, Marc Shellhorn, Angie Hornbrook, Jill Matlock. Also in Crested Butte: Crested Butte Nordic Center 30 kilometers of Cross Country trails Snow mobiling Snowmobile Club SnoTrackers Snow shoeing Dog Sledding Irwin Lodge will open in 2007 for excellent cat skiing terrain.
