The following is a partial list of fields installed or under construction in Eastern Massachusetts communities: Cambridge, Arlington, Milton, Lexington, Waltham, Sudbury, Franklin, Chelsea, North Andover, Medway, Hopkinton, Milford, Boston, Holliston, Tewksbury, Westford, Brookline, Acton, Reading, New Bedford, Lunenburg, Auburn, Weymouth, Whitman, Lawrence, and Pembroke. In addition, numerous private schools, universities and government agencies have recently installed synthetic infilled turf fields. These include Boston College, Lasell College, Harvard University, Tufts University, and many others. Even the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), the state agency that reports to the Secretary of Environmental Affairs, has just installed a new field on the banks of Alewife Brook.
