What other resources does the Coriell Cell Repositories provide to scientists?
Much of the information obtained from research using cell cultures can be obtained directly from the genetic materials in those cells. Thus, for those scientists who do not want to grow the cells in their laboratories, the genetic material or DNA, extracted from the cell cultures in the Repositories, can be shipped to them.
