What other projects can we hold during our StarPeace star party?
StarPeace is collaborating with two other projects: Yuri Night and UNAWE. Yuri’s Night is a celebration of humanity’s achievements in space. Each April 12, people from around the world come together to mark the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first flight into space (in 1961) and the first launch of the US Space Shuttle (in 1981). UNAWE is an international outreach activity that uses the beauty and grandeur of the universe to inspire very young disadvantaged children. Beside these two projects, StarPeace team strongly recommends to hold public astronomy speeches and astronomical photo exhibitions such as FETTU and TWAN at the same time depending upon activity potential in same border point. Also products of projects like The Galileoscope and 400 Years of Telescope could improve the quality of program. It has been suggested that all the clubs visit Cornerstone and Special projects of IYA to see which could help them to hold a better program.
