What other information does Slush Pile Reader need from the author?
At registration we need you to fill out a form with your name, user name, date of birth, and valid e-mail. You also have the option to answer additional questions, but you decide which information will be shown on the site. As an author you can choose to use a user name or your real name in conjunction with your manuscript. Please remember that the name you choose to use as an author is the name under which others will recognize you, both on and off the site. For marketing reasons it is better to use your real name from the start. Since the name you choose will be strongly associated with your manuscript it is perhaps not wise to use a quirky, funny user name and then have to change to your real author name if your book is published.
