What other expenses would be eligible costs under the $10,000 reserved to support/build support for the coordination and integration of services?
Page 4 of the Coordinated Family Literacy and Family Support Pilot Project RFP states that up to $10,000 is available to build support for and/or fund materials or activities for families that facilitate the work of the collaboration. Examples include: family outreach events, resource directories, events, and campaigns that build increased support for comprehensive family literacy and family support, training, and printing. These funds could be used for a variety of expenses ranging from parent stipends, childcare, transportation, postage, advertising/promotions, and printing to reasonable expenditures for refreshments at events such as policy forums. Applicant communities should keep in mind that the scoring rubric provided as part of this process allows proposal reading teams to grant ‘quality’ points to proposals that commit local resources for these and other expenditures.
