What other emissions come from Darlington Nuclear station operations?
OPG has an extensive Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program which is conducted annually in the vicinity of the Darlington Nuclear and Pickering Nuclear stations. The program determines the radiological impact on the public resulting from the operation of the nuclear stations. Each year an annual report of the program is posted to our website and includes concentrations of radionuclides in the air, water, milk, soil, sediments, vegetation and fish samples taken in the vicinity of the nuclear stations, and the associated radiation dose assessments. Visit our website for more information about emissions from the Darlington station and to view the 2008 Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program report. Updated Jan.
