Several new vehicles based on the EV1 platform have been announced by GM’s Advanced Technology Vehicles division. Among them are a diesel/electric parallel hybrid, gas turbine/electric series hybrid, compressed natural gas low emission ICE, and fuel cell/electric powered EV1. A truck based on Chevrolet’s S-10 pick-up is currently available to fleet buyers.
