What originally attracted Ernst & Young to support FYFB?
In the beginning, our involvement came from one employee coming forward and asking about how Ernst & Young’s volunteer support program could help FYFB. The people who have volunteered have been very impressed with FYFB and our involvement has grown from there. What are Ernst & Young’s goals for getting involved with FYFB? Corporate social responsibility is becoming increasingly important for Ernst & Young. This comes right from our global leadership. We want people to feel a sense of purpose at both their work and in their communities. Our involvement with FYFB helps our employees achieve these two objectives. Have your goals been met? People have really enjoyed their volunteer experience at FYFB. A lot of people want to do things in the community; they just don’t know where to go.
