There are numerous local Italian-American genealogy organizations, and at least 3 national organizations: PURSUING OUR ITALIAN NAMES TOGETHER (POINT), was founded in 1987 and has over 1000 members. Dues for members in North America are US$30.00 per year, overseas dues are US$50.00 per year. POINT publishes a quarterly journal of at least 60 pages called “POINTers,” and maintains a data base of all names being researched by members.
