There are many options. If you are not going to play in college, there are options. Many colleges have intramural programs. Your local YMCA might have volleyball programs. Check the usavolleyball.org, then the WannaPlay link, then the USA regions link, then the RVA link and then the link on the map where you are going to college. You can use the link below. You can go to that region’s web page and try to find an adult team in your area. If you were in the Lone Star region, there is a section on the front page where teams look for players and players look for teams. Other regions have the same sections. As far as the next season in school, you still have options. You can work hard from now until then and play for the team. You can attend camps and work out all summer. I would try that option.
