Trainees are encouraged to attend national scientific meetings. Two weeks are set aside per year when the rotation schedule is modified so that traineees can attend a portion of the ASNR & RSNA meetings. Other scientific meeting attendance is at the discretion of the fellowship director. Preference is given to fellow making oral and poster presentations. Fellows may use the provided Book and Travel Fund ($2,500) for travel expenses. In addition, if a fellow is making an oral presentation, she/he is awarded an additional $1,500 to cover travel expenses with prior approval from the division chief. 19.
