What Operating Systems will REVIEW work on?

(Updated for R38) A: This is controlled by the generation options in the REVGEN source member. REVIEW requires the High-Level Assembler and an OS/390 2.7 or later MACLIB to assemble, but the resulting executable is intended to work on all MVS and successor operating systems from IBM, and F4 and successor operating systems (eg. MSP) from Fujitsu. &SYSSPLV is set to ‘1’ to ensure generation of pre-XA compatible code which avoids a S0C4 abend on pre-XA (and MSP) systems after a PA1 (due to STAX macro expansion differences).
