WSUS is supported for Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems. The following Operating Systems are no longer supported by Microsoft and therefore they are no longer safe to run on campus (because they don’t get security patches or updates necessary to protect computers from malicious attacks). • All Windows 2000 Operating Systems • All Windows XP Tablet Edition Operating Systems. Important Note: This list may not be comprehensive. Microsoft discontinues support of older Operating Systems on a regular basis.
