As of this time, no known players are capable of playing the audiobooks on any Operating System (without extremely advanced configuration) other than Microsoft Windows due to the copy protection. The versions of Microsoft Windows which are supported (i.e.: you can download/run Windows’ Media Player 9) are Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 2003.

• Windows 2000, XP and Vista are supported. The pack works on all mentioned 32-bit as well as 64-bit Windows versions. 64-bit players, however, aren’t currently supported. • Windows 7 is partly supported. You need to do one extra configuration step to get subtitles working on MPC-HC. • Windows 98 and ME are not supported anymore. You can still use the 2007-02-22 pack. • Mac OS X is not supported since UNIX-based OS’s do not support DirectShow. We recommend that you use MPlayer OSX Extended. If you want to use the Quicktime player to play your files, support for some common formats is provided by Perian. • Linux and BSD are not supported for their lack of DirectShow. Again, use of MPlayer is advised. Build your own MPlayer from svn, distribution packages are often outdated and crippled.
