What operating systems and handheld devices does the RadioWorks software run on?
The RadioWorks client runs on MS-DOS 5 and 6, and Windows CE 2.11 and later. RadioWorks has been installed on many different devices running these operating systems. The client also runs on Win32 operating systems like Windows 95, Windows NT, and Windows 2000. This is useful for storeroom management and support staff who work primarily at a desk and occasionally need to enter inventory transactions. The desktop client is also for contingency use, in case wireless networking is temporarily unavailable. We strongly recommend that customers select only ruggedized handheld computers. Ruggedized devices are built solidly, include features like hard rubber edges and sealed keypads, and are designed to withstand repeated drops and harsh environments.
