Dell computers will come with Windows XP Professional SP2. Macintosh computers will come with OS X v10.5 (“Leopard”). Note that the current supported Macintosh operating system no longer supports “Classic” OS 9 applications. Starting in Fall 2008, Information Services provides “full support” for the following OS: Windows XP, Macintosh OSX 10.4x or higher and “limited support” for Windows 2000, Macintosh OSX 10.3 or earlier.
