What ongoing effects are we experiencing from the nuclear explosions in the Van Allen Radiation Belts? ?

I had to do some work on this: There have been nuclear tests in space that have caused artificial radiation belts. They were a bit difficult to miss at the time (1962, I was 14) lighting up half of the sky. The literature suggests that it will take some centuries for the belts to re-establish so whatever the effects are we are stuck with them. The cooling reported around the 60’s and 70’s was generally reported to have begun in 1945 at the time of The Japanese bombs, still the major cooling was around the time of the “enhancement” of the Belts. Warming naturally quickly took up the slack after that, it is concievable that the changes in the belts are involved with global warming. If so it would likely be a rather deliberate move so I hope not. An interesting concept. There is a great deal of literature available on this event now. Although all energy entering and leaving Earth is filtered by the Radiation Belts I could find no mention of the effects on Solar radiation and Consequential
