What % of Scientists study Holy Bible ?

I would think that a large proportion of scientists believe in God. They might read the Bible but they are smart enough (unlike most atheists) to realise that the stories in the Bible are allegories (look it up atheists) which aren’t meant to be taken literally. The more scientists learn, the more they realise that there is yet so much we don’t know. They can see that there are so many wonderous things in the universe that must have had a degree of planning. Atheists think that everything happened by accident….eyes are ‘accidentally’ sensitive to light waves, ears are ‘accidentally’ sensitive to sound waves, etc etc. Most scientists aren’t that close-minded.

study or believe in god?? 3% are believers. you don’t have to be a believer to study the bible. ******* i did read somewhere that it was 3%, but i googled it and found this instead: http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/Story?i… “Almost 52 percent of the 1,646 scientists who participated in the study have no current religious affiliation compared with only 14 percent of the general population. More than 31 percent said they do not believe in God, and another 31 percent said they do not know if there is a God and there is no way to find out — a whopping 62 percent of those surveyed. More than 56 percent did not attend a religious service during the entire year preceding the survey. Only 9.7 percent said they have “no doubts about God’s existence.” ** sage got 3% in there too.. i knew i wasn’t crazy for thinking that. dan84311… i’ve already read the bible many times, but you should teach me some “fairyolo

Depends on where they were brought up and who raised them If in the US, with religious Christian parents, most of them. If in China, where many scientists come from, very few. If in India, where many scientists come from, very few, they would have read other religious instructions. If in Japan, where many scientists come from, probably none. If in the UK, probably all, as it is taught in the schools. Many scientists have no problems separating their religious beliefs (Faith) with their work. Some do, but I suspect that is actually a minority. Faith and Science are not incompatible, except to those who believe, usually without a valid reason, that Science somehow attacks their belief structure. OK, if you insist that the universe was made 6,000 years ago, and the findings of vast number of scientists over the past 200 years have shown that the universe must be far older that that, then you may have a problem, if your belief is not very strong. But attacking others, because you don’t hav

Dont know the percentage, but it would be low. And the ones that do, aren’t very good scientists.
