What % of churches here would be mainline, Catholic, Protestant, how many attend church?
Jim Mulkey answered that he believes the statistics for committed Christians is about the same across the nation. 20% of the population claim to be born again, but only 10% are living consistent Christian lives. We have an evangelical church list of 4000, and don’t know the # of Catholic churches. Jeff Sanders said Ft. Worth has 1500 churches, a large % Southern Baptist. 12-15% are in church on a Sunday.
