What NURS courses can I request an evaluation for Life Experience Credit?
There are eight NURS courses in the first three quarter of the Nursing curriculum plan. Your current Ohio LPN license will earn you credit for many of these courses. There is no further testing necessary as your license allows you to receive N credit (life experience) through the Prior Learning Assessment. There are two NURS courses in the first quarter on the Nursing program. • NURS 100-Physical Assessment of all age groups. If you feel comfortable with your data collection and assessment skills in this area, you can earn N credit. There will be some review of this material in the LPN transitions course. • NURS 110-Physical assessment clinical course in a geriatric setting.
