Apparently the other answer doesn’t understand that this website is worldwide, and that you WERE asking Canadians. In Canada, things like ornamental swords are legal. They are not legal to carry around, of course, unless they are for religious purposes. Sikh kirpans are legal, even in schools, provided they are dulled. Live (i.e sharp) knives, daggers, and swords of all sorts are legal to own and possess, just not carry.
