What nitro tank should i get for my Shocker NXT?
When buying a compressed air tank, you will see two sets of numbers. The first is cubic inches, the second is pounds per square inch. Basically this tells you how much air a tank will hold. For example, a full 68/4500 tank will hold 68 cubic inches worth of air at a pressure of 4500 pounds per square inch. A good rule of thumb to figure out the approx. number of shots you will get: 10 x number of cubic inches for 3000 psi 15 x number of cubic inches for 4500 psi The hydro date (hydrostatic testing) on compressed air tanks, depending on the manufacturer and materials, will be either 3 or 5 years. An aluminum CO2 tank usually requires re-testing every 5 years. If you are playing woodsball, either a 68ci (approx. the same size as a 24oz CO2 tank) or 70ci tank will be sufficient. For speedball, depending on what position you are playing, you might be more comfortable using a smaller, compact 48ci tank. An aluminum alloy or steel tank is less expensive (about 1/3 the price) than a carbon fi
