What new surround mixing features does the new software provide?
Version 3.0 provides three main enhancements to the D8B’s surround mixing capabilities, making it one of the most powerful surround mixers in its class. First, a LFE (Low Frequency Enhancement) control allows you to increase or decrease gain from individual channels to the subwoofer output. Second, a Depth of Center control lets you adjust the strength of each channel’s image to the center speaker. Third, a new global “Pan View” greatly enhances the graphic display of all panning by displaying the surround window for channels 1-72 in one global window.
