What new initiatives are moving forward at Coconut Creek High School?
There are two ideas that have been proposed to assist Coconut Creek High School in moving forward. One proposal calls for creating an Environmental GLIDES program with four groups of teachers, one on each grade level. The other proposal provides a picture of the overall technology hardware and programming at the school and looks to create a baseline of digital tools for teachers and students. This baseline of technology, combined with a professional development program supported by DETA, will provide the foundation for future program development. At this stage, both proposals are being considered and potential funding being explored. Coconut Creek High School is scheduled to receive an updated automotive program and an updated technology lab during the 2009-2010 school year.
