What new fall TV shows will be cancelled first?
Journeyman. I watched only 1/2 of the first episode and knew the show wouldn’t be long for this world. It was incredibly boring and too dated for my taste. I think that it is trying to be a warmed-over Quantum Leap, without Scott Bakula, Dean Stockwell, and creative writers. It also reminded me of the show Kyle Chandler from Friday Night Lights had in the 90s, Early Edition. That was the show where a newspaper would appear in front of the leads front door with the next days news printed on it. It was always a race to see if the story could be changed. Like you, my thinking was that Cavemen would be the first new show to be cancelled. The premise never appealed to me, but I suppose it’s gaining the all-important 18-49 year-old male audience that advertizers hoped would watch the show. One of my other least favorite shows is Private Practice, the spinoff from Grey’s Anatomy. I watched the first two episodes, and couldn’t get over how ridiculous the storylines were.
