COD is always trying to respond to the needs of the workforce and the community. During the past year, 20 new degrees and certificates were created and approved by ICCB. These include a new Associate in Arts in Teaching Early Childhood Education, the Fitness Instructor Certificate, Property Management Certificate, Manufacturing Skills Standards Certificate, CCNA Security Certificate, Digital Logic Device Programming Certificate, and the Energy Audit Certificate. In addition, COD is preparing the workforce to address green technology with several new offerings, including the Renewable Energy Certificate, Sustainable Interiors Certificate and Sustainable Landscapes Certificate.
