What needs does someone with Dependent Personality Disorder have in the workplace?

based on the definition of this disorder, they are likely the type of employee who relies on management to spell everything out and will have a lot of difficulty making decisions on their own. Tough part here is whether you’re working with someone who is just fine with their disorder or someone who is working to overcome the disorder. If they are trying to overcome the disorder, they are likely in therapy and, hopefully, are talking to HR and/or their manager about what their needs are. My guess is that treatment involves matching decisive, independent behavior with positive reinforcement and very slowly adding more responsibility to their job.
